9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership by GEOReport

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including but not limited to the software, algorithms, GEO Health Score methodology, databases, Reports, user interface designs, Documentation, trademarks, logos, trade names, service marks, domain names, and all other intellectual property or proprietary rights associated therewith, are and shall remain the exclusive property of GEOReport or its licensors. Except for the limited license expressly granted in Section 6, no rights are granted to you under these Terms, whether by implication, estoppel, statute, or otherwise.

9.2 User Rights in Content

As provided in Section 8, you retain ownership of your Content. Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as transferring ownership of your Content to GEOReport. GEOReport’s rights in Content are limited to the license set forth in Section 8.2 (License to GEOReport).

9.3 Restrictions

You shall not, and shall not permit others to:

a) Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Services, Reports, or Documentation, except as expressly permitted;

b) Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, disclaimers, watermarks, or branding appearing in or on the Services, Reports, or Documentation;

c) Use any GEOReport trademark, logo, or trade name without our prior written consent, except as otherwise permitted under applicable law.

9.4 Feedback and Suggestions

As noted in Section 6.5, if you submit Feedback, GEOReport may freely use such input to improve or enhance the Services without any obligation to you. You acknowledge that GEOReport is not required to treat Feedback as confidential.

9.5 Third-Party Rights

The Services may include or interoperate with components, datasets, or libraries that are subject to open-source licenses or third-party rights. Such components are licensed to you under their respective terms, which govern your use of those components.

9.6 Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms remain reserved by GEOReport and its licensors.
